During New York Climate Week, we will celebrate the launch of the MSCI Sustainability Institute, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at driving progress by capital markets to create sustainable value.

The in-person, invitation-only gathering will convene leaders across the sustainable-finance landscape to discuss avenues for greater collaboration among capital-markets participants, academics, policymakers, and NGOs on global challenges such as climate change.

Speakers include:

  • Simon Stiell, Executive Secretary, United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change
  • Sarah Kapnick, Chief Scientist, U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

The launch will be hosted by Linda-Eling Lee, the Institute’s head and founding director, who will be joined by MSCI Chairman and CEO Henry Fernandez.
