Comparison of the responses by broad temperature outcome category with those published by The Guardian

The weighted average expected temperature rise this century would is around +2.8oC (5oF) according to respondents in our survey , which mirrors the finding of a survey of climate scientists polled by The Guardian.[1] Investors we surveyed, however, anticipate a wider spread than scientists: Twenty-seven percent of respondents indicated a likely temperature rise of less than 2oC (3.6°F), which is more than two-and-a-half times than the proportion of scientists believe; while 8% of investors indicated temperature rise of 5oC (9oF) or more compared with nearly no scientists surveyed.
